Pizza is the most popular food currently. If you live under a rock, pizza is merely a flat dough with tomato sauce, cheese and toppings. The ingredients for a cheese pizza is pizza dough which is made out of water 2 ½ cups of water, 2 tps of yeast, 1 tps of sugar, 1 ½ tps of salt, 6 tps of olive oil and 7 cups of all-purpose flour (plus extra for other stuff) and ¼ cup of semolina flour, tomato sauce and parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
STEP 1: First, to make the pizza dough warm your water to body temperature then put in sugar and yeast into the water, stir until bubbles form. If the mixture doesn’t bubble it means that your yeast is old, and you should throw that out and start fresh.
STEP 2: Put all-purpose flour into another bowl, add salt and extra virgin olive oil. Add these to mixtures together and stir until you make some kind of doughy mixture.
STEP 3: After you think that you aren’t going to make a mess, put it on your board and knead for 10 minutes at least. If you don’t know what knead is, it’s basically rolling the dough on top of itself and pushing forward in flour. To know when done, poke the dough and if it springs back right away you know you’re done.
STEP 4: Now to make a clear shape of a pizza, pull sides of the dough from the outside in so that it makes a ball on the other side. Then, rotate the rough so it makes a rough shape.
STEP 5: Get a bowl and put oil in the bowl and put oil on the dough itself and cover the bowl in cling and let it sit. Longer it sits the better the dough.
STEP 6: Knead the dough for another minute or two. Then do STEP 4 again to make it into a ball.
STEP 7: Cut the dough into 4 pieces, one piece of dough is enough for a sizable personal pizza. Let it sit for an hour.
STEP 8: Get your oven to its highest setting and put something that can absorb heat really well like a baking sheet upside-down, a cast-iron or a pizza stone into the oven and let it absorb heat.
STEP 9: There are many tomato sauces to choose from, there are very fine tomato sauces to whole tomatoes. If you have any leftovers of sauce, put it into a supper container.
STEP 10: If you have the option try to shred the parmesan cheese yourself, if not just use shredded cheese. For mozzarella just tear the cheese into parts, the bigger parts, the cheesier.
STEP 11: Now the dough is ready to be shaped, to do this just poke the dough until it’s shaped into a circle.
STEP 12: Put the semolina flour onto the heated object before the dough and put that into the oven and reshape it
STEP 13: Spread your tomato sauce all over the pizza then put the cheese over the tomato sauce.
STEP 14: Take out the pizza from the oven when the cheese is dark brown and you have a pizza.
