A video recorded on social media revealed Grizzlies NBA player, Ja Morant, waving around a firearm. The NBA banned Ja Morant for 25 games as a punishment. Adam Silver, the NBA commissioner, said that banning Ja Morant from participating in 25 games is an appropriate punishment for his behavior.
This incident was not Morant’s first, however. In March, he posted a video where he was waving a gun around. Morant apologized to the NBA after this incident and was suspended for eight games.
In May, another video surfaced of Morant waving a firearm on social media, while knowing he was being filmed. Ja is now accepting responsibility for his actions and is suspended for 25 games for his unacceptable behavior. Morant’s best friend, Davonte Pack, was also involved in incidents.
