One day, I was sleeping in my bed, smelling the yummy scent of bacon and eggs. I popped out of bed and headed downstairs. As me and my brother ate, my parents suddenly came and told us to get packing because we were going to Lake Tahoe all of a sudden with our friends!

My brother and I went to our rooms and packed for a one-week trip. It was a four hour drive. On the way, I saw snow, trees, mountains, cows, and horses.

When we arrived, we first went to the ski resort, and then we went to rent our ski shoes. After we were done skiing and playing around in the snow for the day, we went to our house that we were sharing with our friends. We unpacked our belongings, and then my parents went to the kitchen to cook with the others while me and my brother went to greet our friends. After we were all settled in, we ate fried rice then we went downstairs to play some games and read books. Then we went to sleep, I slept with my friend downstairs and my brother slept with his friend upstairs.

The next morning, we went upstairs and ate Lucky Charms for breakfast. Then we dressed up in our sweaters, boots and mittens and went outside for hide-n-seek and a snowball fight. It was girls versus boys. Afterwards we built a gigantic snowman. We had so much fun! Then we went to our ski resort and went skiing for a couple of hours then returned home.

We all started to arrive back one at a time. Then we cooked lunch and watched TV. Afterwards we just wandered around the house and goofed around for the rest of the afternoon. Then we ate as usual and went to sleep. The next day it was Wednesday and my brother and I were pretty bored, so we decided to skip skiing and stay home. My family cooked food and then we just started exploring the house for no reason. I found a bunch of Plastic Lacing (a thing to make keychains and bracelets) so I decided to make some for my friend and I. The same routine happened on Thursday. But on Friday, it was time to leave, so we packed our stuff and said “Goodbye! See you next time!” to our friends and left. It was so fun to go to Lake Tahoe and see my friends!
