Magellan-Ltd Creates the First 3D Model of the Titanic

By: Angela Chen

Almost everybody has heard of the Titanic before: the ship that hit an iceberg and split in half. Well, they made a full 3D version of it!

The Titanic is a passenger ship that was said to be unsinkable, but clearly, that was wrong. Near the time of midnight on April 14th, 1912, the ship hit an iceberg and the ship was greatly damaged and started sinking. The ship was holding around 2,200 people but only 710 of them survived.

Making the whole Titanic was not an easy job and it took Magellan-Ltd a whole 200 hours to make the Full 3D version of the Titanic. They had to get all different angled pictures of the wreck to make an exact copy of it.
