By: Vivian Hu

One Japanese man really wanted to ask Nintendo a question, so he brought $40,000 for stock in the video game giant. So much money let him own a tiny part of the company, so he got to attend meetings just to ask 1 question. He later asked the president of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa if he could attend the meetings and ask the question.

The Japanese man asked the current president of Nintendo about the future of “F-Zero”, his favorite game. He said, “It is realistically difficult to develop new titles and remakes, including sequels, for every Nintendo game that people request but we are very grateful and appreciate the expectations our fans have for our games.” Shinya Takahashi said that the company would never forget to look at feedback from fans.

F-Zero was a racing game online, which the driver was a guy called Captain Falcon. Captain Falcon was popular and was featured in many Nintendo games. He was introduced in the year 1990. Since 2004, the popular Captain Falcon was featured in “Super Smash Bros” Would you buy $40,000 in stock for Nintendo for just an answer from one simple question? Probably not. But if you really did, why would you? $40,000 is enough to eat for a month or even longer.
