Max Verstappen is a very fast race car driver.

If anyone was born to race, it would be Verstappen. “The speed being low to the ground, really trying to find the limit (of the car), and also the limit of yourself,” is what the 24-year-old

Verstappen says. “And of course, the engines, the smell of fuel.”

Verstappen’s favorite car is a Formula One car. The car can go very fast and race at

speeds up to 220 Miles per hour. He loved racing ever since he was a kid.

Verstappen’s father, Jos Verstappen, and his mother, Sophie Krumpen, drive different vehicles.

Jos was a Formula One driver, and Krumpen, was a Go-Kart-Driver.

Formula One become more and more popular in the US in recent years.

“It was incredibly crowded on the track, but also in the city.” Verstappen says. “People were

waiting in front of the hotel. Of course, we’ve had this already in European races, people trying to get pictures and stuff, but now you can really see the change in the U.S.”
