On Tuesday, April 4th, my dog, Pearl, was turning one! My family and I took Pearl for a walk. We met many dogs during our walk and Pearl loved to play with them.
When we returned, we gave Pearl her breakfast: dog food with treats since it was her birthday. Then, she went to take a nap.
When she woke up, we took her to Maywood Park. Since she hadn’t met her mother in so long, we arranged so that she could meet two of her sisters and her parents. We went and Pearl rushed over to her family. All the dogs sniffed and jumped on one another. Then, it seemed like they were playing tag because they were chasing each other.
Since it was also Pearl’s siblings birthday, we decided to all walk to Pet Express to get some dog cookies for them. While we walked, the dogs kept jumping on each other and kept blocking one another’s way.
When we finally arrived, all the dogs just layed on the floor to cool down. We first let them play with some toys and then walked to the cookie area. There were hearts, balloons, dogs, bones, and many more cookie shapes. We chose a cookie that said happy birthday with a balloon on it. We paid for it and went outside so the dogs could eat it. Since Pearl is still small, we had to rip it into pieces so she could eat it. Then, we headed home.
For dinner, Pearl had a special dish: Carrots, lettuce, and unsalted chicken. She then went to sleep.
