My favorite season of the year is summer. There are many reasons behind it, such as summer break, summer camps, and going to the pool. Firstly, summer break is so helpful. Because you don’t have school over the summer, it opens up your time! Without needing to go to school, you get to travel and relax.

Traveling and going on vacation is a main reason why I love summer so much. During the summer, you get around 2 months off, which means that you get a lot of time to travel and explore. You also get to explore more places during this season.

Another reason why I like summer is because I get to attend fun summer camps! It is a perfect thing to do when you aren’t on vacation and want to have fun. Summer camps are fun to participate in, especially with your friends. Summer camps can also help you make new friends and give you new experiences.

Additionally, the monsoon season is one of my favorite parts of summer. During the monsoons, you get to stay at home and relax. In Phoenix, it is very rare for us to have rain, so raining is always fun, in a way.

When it isn’t raining during the summer, it is usually very hot, sunny, and humid. Whenever it is hot, I love jumping into the pool. Swimming in a pool helps you cool down. Plus, you get to hangout with your friends and family at the pool. Summer is an amazing season to travel, relax, or jump in a pool!
