The sound of beautiful crimson, green, and golden fireworks rang out
I was laying restlessly in my bed
Striving to obstruct the explosions of sound
And prayed I wouldn’t hear the fireworks anymore
I yearned find a more comfortable spot
But the headphones I donned
Made that prospect hopeless
It took eons for my eyes to finally close
And I swore it might never happen
As I lay there restlessly, I couldn’t help but feel furious
For when will the fireworks stop!?
