For 35 years, Polly Pocket has always been pocket-sized– that is, until now. This summer, you can go to a life-sized dollhouse, just like the toy!
Polly Pocket is a toy brand, featuring a line of dolls and accessories. The brand was created by Mattel, who also made Barbie. Polly Pocket became very popular in the 1990s.
The pastel-pink house is over 12m tall and designed to look like a makeup compact.
This September, it will be open for sleepovers in Littleton, Massachusetts.
The dollhouse is packed with nostalgic surprises that take guests back to their childhood.
“I can’t wait for you to visit and help celebrate my birthday in my most epic compact ever,” said Polly in a press release. “Let’s have some serious slumber party fun in my hometown of Littleton, where we make the ordinary extraordinary.”
The house is filled with treats, such as a vanity filled with hair and nail accessories. If you’re hungry, you can head over to the retro fridge, filled with snacks that every 90’s kid wanted. A few hidden surprises lay around the airbnb for guests to find.
Guests can book one of three-night stays from September 12-14, limited to only 4 people at a time. The stay costs $89 per person.
