Early in the morning, the kayaker goes,
To journey down the Hudson River
He paddles and paddles
Until the water narrows into a sliver
Not to worry, it is widening now,
And see the sun rise over the lake
He travels by a house,
And sees the people start to wake.
His smile is wide
Almost as bright as the sun
It is a sight to behold
He is having such fun
But as the day gets hotter
He eats his snack
And decides to go home
On that green kayak.
