Meet Funny Cide, a chestnut thoroughbred horse who was relatively unknown when he entered the Kentucky Derby in 2003. Despite being considered a longshot with 12:1 odds, Funny Cide defied expectations and won the race. His victory was a life-changing moment for his owners, a group of high school friends who had taken up horse-racing as a hobby in a small town called Sacketts Harbor, New York.
