Review and Opinions on the Book “Yona of the Dawn”

By: Eva Li

“Yona of the Dawn” is a graphic novel that was drawn and written by Mizuho Kusanagi. She was born on Feb 3, 1979 in Kumamoto, Japan and is mainly known for her work on “Yona of the Dawn”.

There are 44 volumes right now and in my opinion, the book is awesome. Even though there is a lot of violence, the adventures of Yona and Hak are amazingly adventurous, especially when they find the legendary dragons.

Some people say that the volumes in the series have themes from historical fiction, romance, and fantasy and that they’re so well rounded. Other thoughts about the books are amazing, well done, awesome, so good, and wow. However, the people who don’t have that much of an interest in that book think that the series would be better without the violence. I thought that the book was amazing and I hope others like it too.

The artwork is decent, although a bit inconsistent. One review mentions that the manga is “beautiful, diligent, and even realistic, but filled with insipid feeling, identical males, and zero progress.” Mizuho Kusanagi would like to thank her assistants for helping her with her tight deadlines and for all the trouble that she put them through. She would also like to thank the people who have been involved with the Yona merchandise and the people who have been reading the manga and sticking with her. (It’s best for people to be 13yr old or over so you won’t get traumatized by the fighting.)
