The director of Inside Out 2 who’s name is Kelsey Mann sequence from his film which pits Joy (voiced by Amy Poehler) against Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawk) .
It’s a battle between the mind to prevent the young girl’s thoughts from being run by Anxiety in the film. The sequel is set mostly inside Riley’s mind, inside Riley’s mind. In the scene, Anxiety is directing a room filled with mind workers and telling them to draw out anything that’s bad they think can happen to Riley at her hockey match tomorrow. This is making her toss and turn.
Kelsey Mann the film’s editor said ”I always envisioned this being a movie about Anxiety taking over, and was reflecting on my own life and how my Anxiety does that in me.”
Things started to become overwhelming, then Joy started to draw up positive ideas to Riley to make her feel better. As Joy tries to get the mind workers to turn against Anxiety, a few of the film references come into play from “Norma Rae” to “Jerry Maruire,” with a little bit of “Network”thrown in.
