The postman’s yellow dog is barking outside: ”Hello Mr. Mole! Your package is here!”
Oh, the package was from Uncle Giraffe. Mr. Mole thought.
Mr. Mole got on his motorcycle and rushed to the post office. After retrieving the package, he opened it and found many tiny little grains inside, but he couldn’t tell what it was.
Mr. Mole brought the package to Mrs. Squirrel’s house. He asked her, “Uncle Giraffe sent me this package. Could you help me find out what it is?”
Mrs. Squirrel took the box, but saw nothing inside. It turned out that the package was broken! It seems everything fell out on the way here. Mr. Mole was distraught.
Spring had arrived. Mr. Mole was going to visit Mrs. Squirrel’s house. Ah, the road has been covered in flowers. He thought.
Mr. Mole passed Mrs. Porcupine’s house just as she was going outside, and she saw many colorful flowers.
“Who planted these flowers on my lawn!? So beautiful!”, she asked, surprised.
Mr. Mole said, “I don’t know.”
Mr. Mole passed Mrs. Fox’s house just as she was going outside, and she saw many colorful flowers. “Who planted these flowers on my lawn? How pretty they are!”, she asked, confused.
Mr. Mole said, “I don’t know.”
Mr. Mole arrived at Mrs. Squirrel’s house. She walked outside and saw many clusters of blossoms out on her lawn, while Little Squirrel was prancing around with Little Porcupine and Little Fox.
Mrs. Squirrel said to Mr. Mole, “I know! That Uncle Giraffe sent you last year were flower seeds! What a glorious gift!”
