A few days ago at the Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con, there was a surprising visit from an actor who was announced to be the new actor to play an iconic comic book character. The actor was Robert Downey Jr, who has played superhero Iron Man in the Marvel series.

There’s an upcoming film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On the stage was a hooded person dressed as Doctor Doom, a villain from the Fantastic Four comics. The person reveals himself as actor Robert Downey Jr, who has returned to Marvel with a new role to play.

Robert Downey was famous for playing Iron Man back in 2008. He has played Iron Man until the Avengers: Endgame filmed in 2019.

Robert is returning as Doctor Doom, who is the main enemy of the Fantastic Four heroes. The movie will be scheduled to release in July 2025. So next year will be a very big year for the Marvel series.

The Marvel movie actors and actresses welcomed Robert back to the Marvel family. Everyone was excited for the new movie, and Robert’s return. Robert Downey Jr said, “New mask, same task. What’d I tell you? I like playing complicated characters.”
