Roe v. Wade Overturned by Supreme Court

By: Michael Zhang

Throughout the years, abortion has been a topic lingering, waiting to be brought up and settled. A very important milestone was set last Friday, 6/24 where the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade giving the States the power to control abortions. 19 states have inacted laws for telemedicine for abortion but other states that support abortion rights are helping the people in anti abortion states. They do this by operating in their state’s borders making it easier for them to access the pills. The pills are mainly sent through mail making it hard for police to catch it.

This affects people throughout the country for not only women, but men too. In states where abortion becomes illegal, women who don’t want to have a child will have that option taken away. The father of the child will also either have to pay child support, or be forced to become a dad whether they like it or not.
