Many soccer fans were confident that Scotland would win against Germany at the Euro 2024. However, Germany won with a score of 5-1, a huge disappointment for the Scottish fans and the players.

This match took place at Allianz Arena in Munich where thousands of fans were waiting for an exciting game. And right from the beginning, Germany had a head start. Within the first 10 minutes, Germany already had a point, scored by Florian Wirtz.

Almost immediately after, Germany scored again, this time by Jamal Musiala. And thanks to Kai Havertz, Germany gained yet another point from a penalty. By the first half of the game, Germany was already leading 3-0.

The second half of the game wasn’t much better for Scotland. As soon as it began, Niclas Fullkrug scored with a powerful kick right at the 67th minute. Germany now had a huge lead on Scotland, a shocking score of 4-0 with not much time left.

But Scotland fans hadn’t completely lost hope yet. 20 minutes later, Scott McKenna’s free kick bounced off the head of Germany’s Antonio Rudiger and into the net, making it an own goal by Antonio. Finally, Scotland had scored a point!

However, the celebration of the fans didn’t last much longer. Emre Can scored one final goal for Germany in the 92nd minute. The game ended 5-1, a huge victory for Germany.

The next game for Germany is Hungary. Will they be able to defeat Hungary as well?
