This month, because of the death of a living being, which has not been identified, many experts have started arguing, discussing the topic of seals, and whether they should be kept or removed.
In July, after a great white shark killed a swimmer in Harpswell, Maine, many experts debated whether the swimmer was even a human swimmer.
Many experts believe that as seals are commonly eaten by sharks, it is possible that the swimmer was truly a seal. The experts believe that seals along the coasts may attract sharks, which can negatively affect the people on land.
On the other hand, some experts believe that the seals are an important species for conservation efforts. They believe that in order for there to be a healthy ecosystem, the seals and sharks should stay put, even if the seals are prey.
