In Chesapeake, Virginia, a gunman shot and killed six Walmart employees. Police have now found all six of the victims, with one of the youngest being just 16 years old.
The shooting occurred at 10:12 pm; Walmart was crowded with over 50 people shopping there when suddenly Andre Bing, the gunman opened fire.
“I’m crying, I’m shaking,” Joetta Jeffery said when her mom was at the store. “I had just talked to her about buying turkeys for Thanksgiving, then this text came in.”The tragic event left many people traumatized and in shock.
The names of the victims were Lorenzo Gamble, Brian Pendleton, Kellie Pyle, Randall Blevins, Tyneka Johnson, and Fernando Chavez-Barron. All these employees will be deeply missed by their families.
“I’m going to miss my son,” Michelle Johnson, Pendleton‘s mother said. Fernando Chavez-Barron was minor, and he had just started working at Walmart to help his family.
Andre Bing himself was a Walmart employee and said his co-workers said he “was like Jeffery Dahmer.” Bing then wrote a death note to the employees and sorted out whom he wanted to murder. He claims that he was not that bad of a person and that he “was actually one of the most loving people in the world if you would get to know me.” Conversely, his co-workers thought of him as aggressive and admitted to having anger issues. He finished this note with “My God forgive me for what I’m going to do….”
