Ever so extravagant in the night
the stainless white petals beaming
the moonbeams raining down as its spotlight
every creature can see it gleaming
it only blooms once a year
finally in the spotlight for once, in the dark
then it will slowly wilt and disappear
and it won’t repeat from the start
it is just like a typical human
waiting for its time of bloom, to shine
but dreams cannot be abandoned
oneself has to be inclined
this is reality; this is how life takes flight
this flower is the breathtaking Queen of the Night
