As the leaves turn green,
flowers fall from the trees.
Spring fades away,
and is replaced by summer.
The days lengthen,
and the nights shorten.
School is over,
so we’ll have more time to have fun.
Swimming in the pool,
playing in the heat.
Running on the hill,
pain in the knees.
As I enjoy the summer breeze,
I look towards the trees,
and see
a nice squirrel.
