Thomas wanted to rid his school of the demons, who, at this point, seemed to be taking advantage of the students. On this day, Thomas was leading a group of kids through the school hallway. When Thomas and his new friends charged into a classroom, Thomas instantly knew they had made a mistake. The school’s principal, Mr. Taran, was also in the room with the teacher in charge of the classroom, Mrs. Cambell. Next to them was a mysterious hole in the ground that seemed deep and probably not fun to fall through. Mrs. Cambell and Mr. Tarans threw the limp kids down into the hole. They then turned around, stared at the kids, and furrowed their eyebrows. Mr. Taran snapped his fingers, trying to use his magic on the kids, but none were affected. “The armor is magic proof,” said Thomas. In an instant, Mr. Taran threw him a disgusted look and charged at him.
Thomas dodged and realized the armor was slowing him down, he knew he usually moved faster, but he seemed more sluggish. Thomas designed the armor to be light, but none of the kids were trained to fight. He needed to end this fight quickly, or his team would die of exhaustion before the demons. He attacked Mr. Taran from the side, but he pulled out a clear sword hitting Thomas off balance and knocking away his weapon. A few magical animals Thomas had drawn in the homeroom in preparation for a battle charged Mr. Taran, but with the swipe of a sword, the creatures were slain. Mrs. Cambell was in hand-to-hand combat with a few of the kids, and the rest of the kids were trying to bring the kids still in the classroom back to their homeroom, where they had stashed extra armor and weapons. They would need to save the kids in the hole later. The problem was they had forgotten about Thomas.
Thomas realized he was outmatched and scrambled away. To his left, Mrs. Cambell managed to knock an attacker down. She seemed like she was winning against the kids. It seemed like he had bitten off more than he could chew. He ran to the nearest desk where the kids had left a piece of paper. He drew a small dagger which soon appeared in real life. Mr. Taran then hit him, knocking him against a wall. While it seemed like Thomas was trapped there, Mr. Taran made a blunder when he charged at him. As Mr. Taran approached him, he failed to realize that he had impaled himself on Thomas’s dagger.
Mr. Taran soon fell limp like the kids he had controlled, then died. Mrs. Cambell was quickly caught off guard by a kid from his side and was soon finished off by the other kids. With Mr. Taran’s death and the new kids’ arrival from this class, the skirmish ended as quickly as it began. Moving forward with their mission, the kids decided to split up. The leading group was assigned to free the other classes. Another group, including Thomas and four other kids, was chosen to act as scouts and explore the hole. The four kids introduced themselves as Henry, Mohammed, Alexandra, and Maria. They all had unique roles in their mission. Henry was the tallest and strongest kid in their grade, Maria was brilliant, Mohammed killed a demon, and Alexandra was probably the most flexible and fast kid in the school! Thomas knew his role, of course. He was there to use his magical ability and had the most experience with killing demons. He quickly drew five tiny parachutes by following Maria’s commands. The kids were all strapped on their parachutes. Then, Thomas went first and leaped inside.
