On June 6, 2023, Russia blew up a dam in Ukraine, proposed with evidence in the attack. Ukraine reported this to Romania because the flood was close to them also. The major problem is that the angry water is rushing through people’s homes, cities and the country.
The bomb had an explosive charge that went in the passageway which controls the machine to the dam, which caused this problem. Ukraine and Romania had sensed the heat from the explosions between 2:15 and 3 a.m.
The strength of the water made the dam break more and the dam was broken in half. People fled and some people tried to help by getting everyone out of their houses and warning them to evacuate.
The dam was an easy target to destroy because the water is supposed to cover the passageway but the water didn’t cover and Russia put the bomb straight to the passageway.
Achilles Strelets, an engineer who had fixed the dam, said, “I walked along this dam many times. I was proud of it. It is the property of my country. I never even imagined that someone would attempt to destroy it.”
