The blue hydrangea
lay wilted and dry
without months of care
The once vibrant blue-gradient petals
now with brown tips
and distorted dirty blue color
The water droplets
from the morning dew
settled on the sagged flower
the clear reflection
creating a miniature rainbow
beside the flower
with the colors evenly spread
across the humid sky
Farther down the rows
tulips
neglected and downcast
red turning into hues of dark brown
yellow turning into shades of gray and white
blue turning to black
Once so cared for
but now ignored
once so happy
now with no emotion
but sorrow
