It all started when 4 of the Alden kids (Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny) were on their way to their favorite pizza place. When they got there they went into the small little pizza restaurant, but there was no pizza aroma in the air.

A man inside said that they could not make pizza because the big factory next to them broke the gas line to their pizza oven. The Alden children asked him why and he said that the manager in charge (Mr. Iron) said that it was an accident. But now they had to wait for a whole week for people to come and fix it.

Jessie, one of the Alden children, made some pizza upstairs in the little apartment oven and started to sell the pizza to the hungry customers. A few days later the power went out and the deep freezer ran out of electricity so Violet said that they could take out the fresh tomato sauce and store it in the snow outside. The next morning, they figured out that someone was trying to ruin the business because a lot of things had been going wrong. So, they thought of a plan, made a pizza, and went to Mr. Iron’s office. On the way up the elevator they met a nice women. When they arrived at Mr. Irons office they gave him some pizza. But he rejected it and insisted that he did all those horrible things to the pizza shop on purpose and said that he would do everything to buy that little restaurant. Then the women that they met at the elevator, which turned out to be the owner of the factory, fired Mr. Iron because she heard everything he said to the nice little kids on a speaker on the desk.
