The Stingray

By: Victor Tang

Do you like any toys or things that you want them to become alive? My favorite toy is my stingray, and its name is Bob. I like him because I like sea creatures and stingrays are cool. If it came alive, I would have had an exciting marine adventure with him.

First, a stingray could only survive in water so I will tell my parents to go to the beach. I will put Bob in the water to swim. I will try to communicate with it so I asked Bob if he knows anything about the sea.

Bob said, “No.”

Suddenly, my mom called me and said, “What in the world are you doing?” I replied.

“I am playing with my talking stingray.”

My mom came to see it, and when she saw it, her eyes were teeming with wonderfulness.

“What are you going to do with it?” she asked. I replied that I would it to the ocean for an adventure.

Unfortunately, my mom didn’t let me since it was too dangerous. But I said, “What if we take the whole family with us? We can ride my stingray into the never-ending ocean.”

Finally, my mom agreed to do it. We will set out tomorrow at dawn.

Dawn had come, my parents, my sister, and I set out on Bob into the ocean to explore. It’s strange that we can’t navigate, but at least we can explore. My dad always gets a kit with him on vacations. He brought a fishing rod, water, and many other supplies.

Suddenly, we saw a giant fish fin, no, it’s a shark. Since Bob is a stingray, I just said, “Bob, we are in danger. Can you please sting the shark?” He said yes, so he stung it. The shark fell into the ocean, dead.

My dad removed his fishing rod and put the shark on the stingray. I decided to go back since it was too dangerous. We can also sell the shark for a fish tank for Bob.

Now we don’t need to buy fish because we can use Bob to go out fishing.
