We can’t believe it – it’s almost time for our amazing reading labs!

We have been preparing for these for months, and now your children will get to experience all of the fruits of our labor!

The sessions are prepared in such engaging ways: we first get to know your children through fun, exciting get-to-know-you activities and community building exercises.

Then, just as we discussed on Reading Wonder Wednesday, we will walk them through important background information, which will be necessary to unpack and understand each of the complex texts we will be reading together.

What we love about our labs is that it isn’t all lecture; it’s dynamic.

We give your children the tools and strategies to lead their own learning, so they can feel empowered in their education. These tricks are easily adaptable and transferable, so whenever they feel like they can’t quite wrap their heads around a text they’ve been given in school, they have all of the answers and processes to help.

And the best part: they can solve the problem on their own!

Which not only saves us, the parents, time, but it also saves so much frustration.
