TikTok is a flourishing app where many people post about their daily lives, tips, and hacks. Now, Tiktokers are taking it to the next level by posting their books that are now being published by a famous company – Bytedance.

Bytedance is a social media company that focuses on short videos. Over the past few years, it has worked with some of the best companies in the world, including advance and royalties. Many authors have described the company as comprehensive and helpful.

The company has been a massive help with the publishing of TikTok books. It has thoroughly changed the way books are presented online. Bytedance already has a goal in mind, too – to sell large amounts of books.

“This could be the next big thing,” Mariah Dietz, a self-published romance author, said of ByteDance’s publishing arm.

For the authors of TikTok, this is a big thing. They have earned so much money, and companies publishing their books are making a skyrocketing amount.

Colleen Hoover was the first to get exposed to publishing. She is an American author who primarily writes novels about romance and young adult fiction novels. Even though most of her books were self-published, Bytedance and other companies still helped! After publishing, her books have been viewed over 4.2 billion times, and more than 24 million copies were sold.

However, concerns have been raised with Bytedance. The concern is that ByteDance may interfere with some books by only publishing the ones it favors, leaving less room for other books and posts that would go viral organically.

Bytedance is focused on fantasy, romance, and mystery genres. TikTokers are hoping they can dive into other areas as well.
