Trump Makes False Accusation that Harris is “AI-ing” Her Crowds

By: Benjamin He

Former President and current candidate in the presidential race Donald Trump recently falsely claimed on social media that the crowds at Kamala Harris’s rallies were faked, and were instead pictures and videos created by AI post-production.

“She’s a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting, and the ‘crowd’ looked like 10,000 people!” Mr. Trump wrote on his social media site, Truth Social. “Same thing is happening with her fake ‘crowds’ at her speeches. This is the way the Democrats win Elections, by CHEATING – And they’re even worse at the Ballot Box. She should be disqualified because the creation of a fake image is ELECTION INTERFERENCE.”

Unfortunately for President Trump, this was quickly disproved and labeled false by various pundits. Thousands of people and various media outlets had all witnessed the crowds firsthand. Additionally, the number of attendees claimed by her campaign seemed roughly in line with the crowds seen on camera. All this evidence clashes directly with Mr. Trump’s statement about one of her rallies in Detroit, located outside an airplane hangar, that “there was nobody on the plane, and she ‘A.I.’d’ it.” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social.

In the presidential race Trump appears on par with, or even losing to, Harris according to recent polls. He was also seen questioning Harris’s racial identity at a Black Journalist Conference. Recent polling now shows that he is behind Ms. Harris in several key states.

Taking advantage of Mr. Trump’s current weakness and frustration over Harris’s crowds, one of which topped 15,000 people at an event in the Phoenix area on Friday, the Harris campaign has begun to mock Mr. Trump for his apparent insecurity, The Harris Campaign went on Trump’s social media profiles , replying under one of his posts with a video of Air Force Two arriving in Detroit to an enormous crowd and her exiting the plane with Gov. Tim Walz, Ms. Harris’s running mate.
