Recently, Airbnb launched a new house for people to stay in based on a Polly Pocket dollhouse that looks like a make-up compact to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Polly Pocket. Polly Pocket is a company of dolls and accessories that became popular in the 1990s. The house is bright pink and over 12 meters tall, and is located in Massachusetts, US. Airbnb has been advertising and creating special rentals on social media platforms.
Another fun place to stay for a night is Shrek’s house. The advertisement for this home is a little intriguing to people as it says the house is covered in mud and moss. This house is made by DreamWorks, the company that produced the movie Shrek.
The home of Winnie the Pooh is another home of enjoyment. This house was built as a part of Disney’s 9th anniversary celebration of the character to recreate Winnie the Pooh’s home in Ashdown Forest, in East Sussex.
A pineapple house not under the sea? That must be SpongeBob Square Pants’ house even if it isn’t underwater. This house is located in the Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts in the Dominican Republic and even includes a recreation of SpongeBob’s living room.
In 2021, people got to stay in the amazing original home from the movie Home Alone, an iconic Christmas movie. Guests were also able to meet actor Devin Ratray, who played the character Buzz in the movie. The house even included many fun fake traps such as falling paint cans just like in the movie.
