EWC is a writing website where you can write all sorts of things, from news articles to poems! You can choose from different articles from Monday to Friday.
I’ve been writing on EWC for 7 weeks in this summer. Each day you will be required to submit one article from the assignments page. For example, if it’s a Monday, you can choose any news article EWC provides you, and on a Friday, you can write any type of creative article as you like.
You will also occasionally get feedback from the editor that helps you revise your writing. Sometimes your writing will even be published on the EWC website for everyone to see! There are many writers on EWC constantly writing all day long! At the end of every week, you receive a report card that tells you what your best piece was that week.
I do have some suggestions EWC could improve on. I hope when starters like me start writing, they will get a better explanation of how to log into EWC and how to work with EWC writing tools. When I started, since I wasn’t on a Windows computer. I couldn’t write on Word, so I had to write in Google Docs first and then transfer it to word. I hope EWC makes an option for everyone on different devices to be able to write on Word. And, when I had a question, EWC told me to look for an answer in its Q&A section. However, many of my specific questions are not in Q&A section. Overall, the first week working with EWC was pretty tough.
In conclusion I recommend EWC to more writers out there in the world. I hope even more people start writing on EWC.
