A coat of pearl white fur,
Its dark black stripes lie on top
Glowing blue eyes grabbing your heart
Roaring, waiting for its meal.
Children’s faces pressed up the glass,
Shoving each other to get near to the window.
The helpless tiger lies down in the corners,
Waiting for it all to be over.
As the sun falls down,
Children fade away from the sight.
The tiger is free from all the noise,
Chomping down on its food
Picturing how great it would be to be free.
